Welcome to Phone Manager (beta)!
By Steven Nyman
This web app helps you integrate your iPhone/iPad with your computer. From your computer, you can:
receive and dismiss device notifications
view and control currently playing media and volume level
view device battery level, name, and model name
Since this is the first time you are using this application, you need to few steps to pair your device with this site.
This application uses a low-energy Bluetooth connection to connect to your device, so your device needs to be within about 30 feet of your computer to stay connected.
Let's Go!
Privacy: This application runs offline within your browser, and notification contents never leave your devices.
App names are sent to Apple in order to display icons, and counter.dev is used to anonymously count website visits, referring websites, browser/OS versions, screen sizes, languages, and regions.
Notice: This application should not be exclusively relied upon for emergency communications, and users who regularly receive confidential communications should take special precautions.
Pair your device
This process only needs to be completed the first time you use this site.
In order to pair your device, you need to download the Link to Windows app to your iPhone/iPad. You do not need a Windows computer. (Phone Manager is not affiliated with Microsoft.)

In order to pair your device with your computer, we need to tell your device to advertise to other nearby devices that it is ready to pair.
Open the Link to Windows app
At the bottom of the screen, select "Continue manually without a QR code"
Select Continue
If prompted, select Allow to allow Link to Windows to use Bluetooth
Open pairing settings on your Windows device, select "Add Bluetooth or other device", select "Bluetooth", select your iPhone/iPad from the list, and confirm the displayed passcode matches on both devices. Close the Settings app. As necessary, select "Try again" followed by "Continue" in the Link to Windows app.
Pair your device in your computer's settings app.

Browser incompatible
This application requires a browser that supports the Web Bluetooth API. Consider downloading the latest version of Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
If you are using Chrome on Linux, enable Web Bluetooth in chrome://flags.
Operating System incompatible
This application requires Windows 10/11, ChromeOS, or Android. Linux has limited support (requires enabling a flag) and macOS (except for version 10.10 Yosemite) is entirely unsupported.
You can enable an experimental feature in your browser to avoid going through the pairing process every time (optional)
Open a new tab, and paste in the following URL: chrome://flags/#enable-web-bluetooth-new-permissions-backend . Set the feature to enabled and restart your browser.
Go to edge://version and then look for the Profile path. Open that folder in your file explorer and navigate up one level. In the file explorer, open the file called "Local State" in Notepad. Open Find and Replace by typing Control-H. Try to find "enabled_labs_experiments":[ and replace it with "enabled_labs_experiments":["enable-web-bluetooth-new-permissions-backend@1", . If that fails, try to find "browser":{ and replace it with "browser":{"enabled_labs_experiments":["enable-web-bluetooth-new-permissions-backend@1"], . Completely close Edge by typing edge://quit in your address bar, then, while Edge is closed, save and close the file, and re-open Edge.
Continue without configuring
